dc.description.abstractLetter to The Department of Justice, with information of what Relander has been scanning and transcribing, and its relevance to the case. "I mention this in event the Yakimas pursue their claims through litigation. There will be much of interest in these rolls." Relander is going on vacation down below Hood River, and sculpturing a woman who might know something of value. Chief Tommy Thompson is also unhappy about the Yakima's claim, and quite vocal about it. Relander is still friends with the Yakimas, and vice versa, despite his support of the Wanapums. He is frustrated, though, that despite his offers to help with voter registration, they are choosing to handle it by in-house committee. He details how much time he's spent on work for The Department of Justice, and when he believes he'll be done.en_US
