dc.description.abstract"When Mrs. Mires' maternal great grandfather was a child of 8 and his brother a youngest of 6 were eating their bread and milk in the garden of their home in England they were kidnapped.... They were left in the woods of an estate. A milk maid found them. The children were not wanted and after a search had been made for their parents they were given to an Irish family who gave them the name of Sherwood and brought them to America."en_US
