dc.description.abstract"The destruction of Admiral Cervera's fleet adds another bright page to American history and another great name to our list of naval hhroes and that will be Schley. Sampson is all right, no doubt, but the poor man is out of luck. The people will not allow Schley to be robbed of his laurels. He will soon be known as Admiral Schley."
