Relander updates Joel R. Ferris, with the Seattle First National Bank, on what has been happening with Drummers and Dreamers. He says that advance sales total about 500 copies, which is a good start. Relander also requests his help in Spokane with the book tour, which he clearly seems overwhelmed by and states, "There's really a lot of work to be done on that line. Of course I don't have to, but Caxtons have no big promotional stuff and books have to be promoted that way now to move. I don't intend to let it die on the limb."
