dc.description.abstract"Sap at Kloni means White Swan in Umatilla tongue. He was next to the last chief of the Walla Wallas. He was born at Wallula about 1854. His mother was a cayuse, his father was a Umatilla named Westconne or called Old George. His mother was Schmamoosh or Old Woman. He died at his home at Cayuse, March 6, 1936 and was buried at Homli cemetery."en_US
