Abstract
"Sap at Kloni means White Swan in Umatilla tongue. He was next to the last chief of the Walla Wallas. He was born at Wallula about 1854. His mother was a cayuse, his father was a Umatilla named Westconne or called Old George. His mother was Schmamoosh or Old Woman. He died at his home at Cayuse, March 6, 1936 and was buried at Homli cemetery."
