"My father, the late Woodruff Vance worked on your paper around the year 1913. He wrote an article for magazine of New York Times, in 1919 - about the Indians spearing salmon at the dams, according to treaty signed by Indian Chiefs in presence of Gov. Isaac Stevens, in 1859 by the Yakima Tribe."
