Response to a letter from the Area Director of the Portland Area Office pertaining to the Wanapums' burial grounds. Relander declines to rearrange meetings, because of the inconvenience it would be to the Wanapums. He also warns that to rehash everything already decided would "probably result in loss of confidence." Relander states that having dealt with matters outside of the law, just between friends, has earned the Wanapums respect.en_US
