Abstract
"I do not feel that Photostats of the Winnemucca items, noted by you at $1.50, would be suitable for reproduction in newspaper stories I contemplate. I assume I will be able to secure copy negatives of them someplace later. Enclosed for your general interest a newspaper clipping you may discard after you read. It will give you an idea of some of my writings in connection with my profession as city editor of The Yakima Daily Republic."
