Abstract
"I'm halting my petty personal projects to spend a couple of days sending out these petitions. They should be returned within a week or 10 days. The fight against halting construction of the dam is a hard one, but we can certainly impress upon the legislators the fact that they have not, now and in years past, been living up to the promises made by the Signers of our Constitution and the Declaration of Independence. I think that is the thing to impress upon those you approach with the petition."
