Abstract
Relander sends Laura Wilck a manuscript of The Lonely Road. He mentions a "collaborator" and the complications that have come up in Relander's life, including the death of his father. He also lets Wilck know that a movie, The Hanging Tree, is being filmed in Yakima, so he is hopeful Wilck will get the manuscript to those involved. He points out what he considers to be the current flaws in the manuscript.
