Relander invites Mrs. Norman E. Robbins out to dinner and lets her know about his wife being out of town and upcoming book tour. He lets her know he hasn't had time to sculpt and that one of the Indians has died. Relander encloses clippings about court cases and proceeds to discuss them at some length before closing by talking about his upcoming speech for her Women's Club.
