Abstract

Relander writes Senator Richard L. Neuberger of Oregon that he is pleased the Senator "co-sponsored legislation regard the Wyampum or mid-Columbias," and asks for a copy of the bill, for inclusion in his book. He describes his relationship with Chief Tommy Thompson, Mrs. McKeown, and the Wanapums. Some of the Yakimas are back in Washington, and Relander says he doesn't always see eye to eye with them, but the men who are there are good men. Relander ends by offering his assistance should the Senator need help in the future.
