dc.description.abstract"Lucky Rock, in the southern part of Kittitas county near the Yakima county border. It is granite, about seven feet long and three feet wide. If an Indian should fall in sliding down the rock it was counted bad luck. If an Indian boy when being taught to slide down should fall and cry his father thought him to be no account. This tradition was obtained from Mr. Houser (Seventh Grade in the Ellensburg State Normal School: History of Kittitas valley, Page 4.) Meany."en_US
