dc.description.abstract"She no doubt was a 'Palouse' but Indians generally regarded her as a Snake River woman as they did Scolokus, calling them Mr. and Mrs. Snake Eyes. These were not the Snake Indians further to the south but appeared to be the river people along the Snake, who were of various mixed bloods and different from the old Palouse, long since gone who were not habitual river dwellers.) Kamiakin had four sons by his fourth wife, two sons, including Cleveland Kamiakin and two daughters. Cleveland only one now alive."en_US
