dc.description.abstract"The people of Washington extend the glad hand to Ex-Governor McGraw, who returned from Alaska this week with an alleged fortune. While there are many things about the former governor, in his character of a politician which we do not like, yet we cannot but admire the splendid pluck and nerve which he exhibited two years ago, when he discovered that he was ruined politically and financially. He deserves his good luck and the people of Washington rejoice thereat."en_US
