James Harvey Wilbur was Methodist missionary who arrived in Oregon in 1847 after a nine-month sea journey from New York with his wife Lucretia Ann Stevens, daughter Elizabeth. He describes his travels in great detail in this journal, which Click Relander transcribed in 1953 from microfilm held by the Oregon State Archives, located in Salem, OR.	en_US
