Single 8 x 10 inch sheet. Handwritten in ink and inscribed. Title on verso.
Wilbur examined several papers of the office with Colonels and General who came to Fort Simcoe to visit "different parts of the Reservation." Bands of Indians belonging to other agencies, of the same character as Fort Simcoe's bands, "were gathered in Council and agreed to go to their respective agencies and live." Includes the line "the dreaming, drumming Bands of Indians," reminiscent of Click Relander's book title, "Drummers and Dreamers."
