dc.description.abstract"THE DEMOCRAT man received the information this week through a source which we are not at liberty to divulge, that it is the sure enough intention of an alleged independent company of eastern and Portland capitalists to begin the construction this season of a line of road, either from Portland or some point on the Columbia river into the Yakima valley and from here it is said that the road will probably be built via Priest Rapids into the Big Bend country, with a northern terminus, either at Spokane or Republic."en_US
