dc.description.abstract"The elevator in the federal building has been installed by the Otis Elevator company, the finishing touches having been put on yesterday afternoon. It was ready to be turned over to Postmaster W. L. Lemon at 12 o'clock yesterday but he was not ready to receive it at that hour. Norris Kumler, son of B. F. Kumler, secretary of the school board, has been appointed temporary elevator conductor. The hours of service will be from 8 to 12 in the forenoon and from 1 to 5 in the afternoon."en_US
