dc.description.abstractIn the background is the third North Yakima Northern Pacific Depot, constructed in 1898. A section of it was moved north to Cherry Lane where it was used as part of a duplex. A bigger depot, which still stands today, was constructed in 1909. In the foreground of this picture are trolley tracks which were laid over the railroad tracks by the Yakima Valley Transportation Company. North Yakima
