dc.description.abstract	"I have the original journals, Thwaite's edition, as well as the journals of Gass, Ordway, Whitehouse, and Floyd. I have traced out all the Indian villages that they recorded in this area, but I have not done much work on their own camp sites, although I know those in this immediate area. If I could be of any help to you I would be glad to do so. Perhaps in the nature of a journal, starting about the time they reached the Divide, would be of interest to your readers."	en_US
