dc.description.abstract"With only slight opposition the fruit growers went far enough afield from their beaten path in the business session this morning to adopt resolutions favoring the increase of the tax on gasoline for motor vehicles used on the highway and a reduction of road levies. Another resolution, calling attention that this state was one of the three leading horticultural states in the union and its assets annually are in excess of $50,000,000 the resolution expressed the opinion that the lack of information on pest control and other problems of the fruit industry is responsible for losses running into millions of dollars each year."en_US
