dc.description.abstract"A cougar had been killed at the ranch the night before the rancher told them and showed the fresh hide. Milroy slept in the bed of the spring wagon with his head at the back end. In the night he was awakened by an animal licking his cheek. Remembering the account of the cougar being killed thought the cougar's mate had come to make a meal of him but when he turned his head to look he saw that it was a calf."en_US
