dc.description.abstractCabin being built at Skull Creek for the movie "The Hanging Tree". - From the Yakima Republic, Feb 12, 1959 "There were 756 persons from the Yakima Valley who drew checks for their work in "The Hanging Tree," the motion picture which was shot on location 35 miles from Yakima last June and early July...Two Valley mayors took part in the mob actions, Vernon Pritchard of Granger and J.K. Alderson of Yakima."
