Abstract
"In those days there were no corrals or bucking chutes. A horse was blindfolded, 'snubbed up', saddled, and rode in the center of the viewing circle. A man well-known for his perfect technique in snubbing a horse was Joe Meninick. Old timers say that when he snubbed a horse it stayed snubbed."
