dc.description.abstract"In the month of June, 1856, I went in company with a train of commissary supplies escorted by one or two companies of troops to the camp of Col. Wright, commanding an expedition to the Yakima Country. His troops, after relieving the Cascades and building the block house on the hill back of Bradford's had been ordered to this valley, the expedition on to Walla Walla being for the present abandoned."en_US
