dc.description.abstract"He says Sklome came to his office and told him that he was ready to give up the murderers of Mattice, Boland and any others if he could be allowed to do so in his own way and time that they were all in the country at present and by a little management he could succeed in getting them all, that if a formal demand was made upon the several chiefs by the military these murderers would hear of it and make their escape to the Blackfoot country where they could not be found, he stated also that it was the desire of Kamiahkin that these murderers should be given up."en_US
