"US and Great Britain settled the Oregon boundary by treaty of Washington signed June 15, 1846., August 14, 1848 congress created a territorial government between 42d and 49th parallels, Rockies and Pacific. Only daughter, wife of Rev. S. T. Michael Fackler, first Episcopal clergyman in Oregon country, he married Miss Wilbur in 1849 and she died a year later, buried Portland."
