dc.description.abstract"Land sales became frequent by 1911 and 290 had been made covering most of the patents which had been issued by that time. The lands were for the most part valuable irrigated lands and brought prices ranging from a few dollars to $150 an acre, compared with a Centennial year value of $350. Funds from the sales were placed to the individual's account and held in trust by the Department."en_US
