dc.description.abstract"I have checked over the files of our office with respect to an Indian by the name of 'Susie' alias 'Yakima Susie,' and find that the Yakima Herald on December 30, 1909 carried a very informative article about her and her life. This woman was known as Epas Susanna Eddian, Yakima alottee No. 536. Records show that she was born about 1832 and died November 3, 1911. Her father was Owhoasha and her mother's name was Waltiwit, the records do not reveal the date of their death nor the date of their birth."en_US
