Abstract

"I have seen the salmon and steelhead go from a state of plenty to a state of scarcity. Cut down and remove a tree from the forest, then there is no value left there. Not so with the fishery; if given the opportunity, the salmon return each cycle year to give their life for new life and thus perform their part toward maintaining this great natural resource."
