Abstract

"Auditor Ellis has received information from Tacoma that lots are being given away in National Park City, the platted basaltic mountain up the Yakima canyon, but that $2.50 is charged for the deeds. At that rate an acre of land that was assessed at 12 1/2 cents will bring $40 and the townsite of 129 acres, valued at about $15, will realize for its enterprising projectors over five thousand dollars."
