dc.description.abstract"The fruit growers of California are beginning to discover that as much can be gained by organization and cooperation as by their best efforts in their orchards. The direction in which their cooperative efforts have been most productive so far has been marketing. At a recent meeting of the State Horticultural society, held at San Francisco, a comparison of expense showed that the results of cooperation in sending their product to market had been satisfactory in many ways. It has secured the best prices, certain sales and sure returns."en_US
