dc.description.abstractThe Salmon feast. Salmon was baked outside the longhouse. Here the Indians have spread or rolled out their ceremonial mats on the ground, all orthodox Indians eat the feast in this manner. In an ajoining room are tables for those who find it difficult to eat on the ground.
