dc.description.abstract"We were agreed that it was necessary to give the individual some tangible evidence of his membership in the State Historical Society. Our thinking was that if we could persuade the county and other local societies to either increase their membership fee twenty-five cents per year, or to allocate to the state society twenty-five cents from their present membership fees, it would be possible to put them on the mailing list for the news letter that Chapin gets out."en_US
