dc.description.abstract"....Colonel Walker thinks, and the colonel is one of the most conservative men in the state, that in the course of a few years the city of Zillah will absorb the new town which by that time will represent a suburban precinct of the colonel's home city. The name of the new town is to be Granger. It is said that the village is to be named for W. N. Granger, one of the leading citizens in that part of the country."en_US
