dc.description.abstract"Col. C. W. Mott, general emigration agent for the Northern Pacific was in the city Monday and Tuesday. He reports a very satisfactory summer's work in his line. During the season he brought in over 1,800 people into the Yakima valley, many of whom will become permanent citizens. They came principally from the states of Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota and Wisconsin."en_US
