Directions are to Herzog Ranch and Felida, and discusses moorage. "The walk from the ranch to the site is about 3/4 mile, but half of it is a steep climb out, so travel light. Parking, trailer camping, launching, boat rental and moorage are available at Felida." Reference found, by digitizer, to a publication "Shoto Clay: Figurines and Forms from the Lower Columbia," (OAS Publication #4) which talks about a site excavated by OAS members on the Herzog Site between 1964 and 1966, which found clay artifacts from a previously unknown society not related to modern Native people in the area.
