dc.description.abstractAnna on left, Sanford is seated. Gibbs Grocery was located at North 1st St and "I" (just outside the city limits) Although the store was run by Mr. Gibbs, the building belonged to Mr. Carvo who lived about three doors east of the store. The Gibbs ran the store for 15 years, then moved to Moscow Idaho in 1929.
