Abstract

"Mr. Young has been superintendent of the reservation for several years, following Major Jay Lynch in that position and he has been a very busy man since he took hold. The increase in population in this county has enlarged the responsibilities of the agency and called for much new work all of which has been carefully attended to. There has been a new allotment of hands, much road building and other construction, many adjustments and new phases of development to be met, particularly as two large towns have grown on the reservation and another railway or two has been added there."
