Abstract
"A renewed effort to care for or kill some 10,000 wild Indian ponies running at large on the Yakima Indian reservation was launched at the banquet of the Yakima County Humane society attended by 75 persons Friday evening in the First Methodist church. It was voted to send a strong committee to meet with Major Evan Estep superintendent at Toppenish to urge him to make every effort to have the Indian department handle the situation."
