Abstract
"The Yakima county poor farm in the Wide Hollow was opened today and 10 old men, some of whom had been in the hospital for two years, were taken out and placed in their new quarters. The building, placed in the 40-acre farm has room for 35 to 40 inmates and is said to be one of the most modern and well appointed on the coast."
