Abstract

"During the period the Agency has been without an agent a large number of the Indians have left the agency. Some of them are now at Priest Rapids and White Bluffs, other at Yakima at Simcoe, at Celilo and in the vicinity of the Dalles. You will use diligent endeavor to return these Indians to the reservation and prevent them from again leaving."
