Abstract

"Mr. Noel thanked Mr. Hovis for appearing before the group and explaining the Nipo Strongheart collection. Mr. Hovis stated that he felt the letter we sent to Mr. Eagle Seelatsee extending free storage space for the Nipo Strongheart collection was very well written and the best way to approach the Indian Nation. He stated that the Yakima Indians are their own principals and they are the ones that should be approached and will decide. He further stated that no one is held higher in respect to the Indians than Mr. Click Relander."
