Report on Fairchild's "recent visit to the Indians-parties to this treaty-who are located at the Tum-water fishery near the Dalles Oregon." Information on their issues with fishing rights, and also the requirement to purchase "citizen papers" and pay taxes, or "work on the County road," to earn that amount.
