"A large proportion of North Yakima's population is just now either engaged in disporting itself at the seashore or in the nearby mountains, while the remainder find it necessary to stay at home and 'sweat it out,' especially the poor devil of a newspaper man whose business is unfortunately of such a nature that it will not permit him to run away from it."
