Romney for President Committee newsletter: Vol. 1, No. 4.

Abstract

Contains Gallup Poll information and articles from around the country, as well as a statement issued by Governor George Romney. Of interest is the article on the back cover which mentions a possible run by Vice President Richard M. Nixon and Gov. Ronald Reagan. "Gov. Ronald Reagan of California is now having his run in the press as the possible strongman in the GOP who will come up with the presidential nomination. Reagan's record as a public official has yet to be made. He won the governorship last November largely because he had a week opponent, Pat Brown, seeking a third term, and because the Democratic party was split wide open, rather than because of any great personal strength."
