Abstract

Council took place at Camp Stevens in the Walla Walla Valley in 1953 and also May 29th, 1855. The camp is named after the first Governor of Washington, Isaac Stevens, who attended the council with General Joel Palmer and several Native American chiefs, listed in the document. Information about the council and the treaty are also given, as well.
