Reprinted from an issue of Public Utilities Fortnightly. "Regional nationalization of the electric power industry, the long-range goal of a potent left-wing political coalition, received a powerful impetus with the recent enactment of the precedent-making TVA revenue bond legislation. But there are other measures-including the proposed Bonneville Power Corporation now pending in Congress-which suggest that the federal power corporation could be an effective vehicle for ultimate nationalization of the power industry."
